And so we end the month of Jan today.Sad but Feb is moving in.
Yay! Have you noticed that it is staying lighter longer outside here?
Also that the weather is Spring like in the 60's today. :) Don't hold your breath there is still time for some white stuff.
I did see the nice weather today and it was a very pretty day here.
Heading out with the radio station gang soon on Fri!
Got that on my schedule this weekend.
Also look for another gig 2nd or 3rd week of Feb so 9th or 16th?
It will TBA soon working those in on the weekdays for some short gigs.

I want to also start words of inspiration for you.
This will be giving you a word and telling you what I think it means.
Today's Word is " believe"-
What does it mean to me?
Well it means that you have faith, in something and you think that it will benefit you in some way or form.
You believe it is right and it feels natural to you in a comfort zone kind of way.
You believe things will workout in the very end, if your work hard enough on something that is important to you.
Or you have enough confidence in it that it makes a realistic goal,view, person,object,etc that will come true in the results.
Most of all I think the word reflects what some people lack..
Such as I believe in myself that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to.
Or I believe I can become a better person, or have that connection with other people that last forever.Example:Friendships,family,etc.
I believe that I can find myself enough to establish a identity in the world as a person.There are different kinds of " beliefs" religions or otherwise, but I'm saying sometimes we have such low self,
that we don't have any of the word " believe" for ourselves or in our lives.
You need to "believe" in "something" fill in the blanks here.._
Maybe that doesn't happen till someone else helps us to see things differently and encourages us enough, to actually finally believe in something, and ourselves as a person.
So what does it mean to you?
And what do you believe in?
Or is that missing from your life?
If so; where do you think you might find it?
Or has someone shown you to believe in yourself or something now when you didn't before?

Ice Fest

Yes, even though it was warmer and the ice was melting in downtown Chambersburg.
I was still wearing my flip-flops while everyone was freezing.It was a little chilly, but not terrible.
The one old guy looked down and started to smile as he walked by.
I think he was thinking:Look at that... I'm freezing and she's wearing flip-flops in winter LoL?
Yup, just another day and I'm thinking summer thoughts right?You could still see what most of the ice sculptures were.
Anyways today was a good day if you didn't want to have a wait in line for the ice slide!
:) WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

About bookings; I'm still taking them for Feb-Nov 2012..
I will even do some holidays depending on what your looking for, along with your birthdays,get together,etc.
So if I'm not busy with my schedule and other schedules I can work it in..
Wow February is kind of sneaking up on everyone..yikes.
Seems like it drags on but then towards the end melts away.

Show next month

My next gig will be on a Thursday night in February,location Hagerstown,MD.
Not sure of the date or time yet, TBA -it will be another short performance.
Just stay posted and I'll keep ya updated on where I'm heading next.
If I was in a warmer area that didn't snow,and rain like this. There would probably be shows all year round.I'd still need/want breaks though..

Weather,pics up!

The weather was actually pretty nice today 50's.
The snow was starting to melt again.
I'm still pretending it's summer by wearing my flip-flops all year round... everyone's happy right?
If you haven't checked out the pictures from the show sat they are now up on Myspace and Facebook fan pages!!!
We have cool shots of the stage and the light :)

My show

Although when I woke up today there was snow in 3 inches or so.
We thought even though crowd size would be lower.That we'd
still attend my first short performance of the year.
It was very interesting I got to open the event, followed by a married couple who performed after.Originally there was to be an opener before me, then I'd be next.
She even did the song they were singing in Chinese which was very cool.The show even though I was on break since late Nov-
Jan, my first short performance back in the season.. went very well.It was more of personal low - key feel tonight.
By tomorrow evening I should have pictures up from that show along with hopefully the new band member too.
I didn't take my band LoL for this performance. Once I get my bigger shows they will come along :)Also I started with shows earlier this year starting Jan 21, instead of Jan 27th.I didn't know when I started last year and it's been a warmer winter here. So it gives great opportunity to play or do more with less problems.
Remember get out to see Ice Fest next week :) They always have this awesome ice slide....
Not sure how much I will be doing, with weather being so unpredictable. I will keep you posted.

Still hear the word S...now for tomorrow not sure. I guess I'll do a check tomorrow and if it's still bad just book it for another Sat night no big deal.
